Trip 2 – Day 9 Orthodox Easter in Moscow

Today most people celebrated Easter here in Moscow. There were tons of people out and about walking around and enjoying this beautiful weather.
We walked around our "block" today trying to scope out the area. We looked at a couple of small parks that are almost "hidden" in between buildings. We walked up toward another huge "cross road" area. Just looking around. We went by the old and new entrances of the Moscow Zoo. I of course loved the old entrance with its beautiful iron fence. The new one reminded me of something we would see at home. We then walked back down by the Russian White House and back to Old Arbat where we grabbed some dinner.
Not much today just enjoying this bright Moscow sun. I really wish we would have packed our sunglasses!! I may have to break down and get a pair. Of course as soon as we do the clouds will roll back in!
