Trip 2 - Day 5 - Another Beautiful Day with Zach

Another glorious day. We got to see Zach and the sun was shining! We had a great day with Zach we had lots of kisses and hugs today. We also continued to get really good eye contact. And we even had more babbling! It was a good day all around. He is not walking - but it will come very soon. Of course all he wanted to do today was sit in our laps - and we did not complain! Today was a very good day - not that they all haven't been, but today was very sweet and special. Maybe it was because we knew that we were his official parents - at least in the eyes of the court. Although it was a beautiful day it was still a little too chilly for us to take little man outside. When we go back to see him Friday we hope to take him outside - weather permitting.
The other big thing we did today was go to IKEA. Yeah Yeah... I know.... We don't have an IKEA in Charlotte - yet! I really wanted to look for a certain toy that Zach loves at the baby home. Of course they did not have it. But, Dave and I had a good time walking around and looking.
We came back to the apartment for a short rest and then went and meet Brad and Maureen for dinner at Mi-Mi's and then coffee at Starbucks. Mi-Mi is a restaurant that serves cafeteria style - the menu is in Russian and English - but I just pointed. Brad and Maureen fly out tomorrow, then come back for their gottcha day in a few weeks.
While we were out we bought Dave and Zach matching Hockey jerseys. How precious will my boys be!
It was a great day - seeing Zach, IKEA, and dinner with great company. Lets hope the good weather holds out... I just knocked on wood!
