So we fly out tomorrow! We have stopped the newspaper and our "house and doggie sitters" have their strict instructions (ha!).
Poor "K" at our agency had to drive to Charlotte today to give Dave paperwork for us to carry over. So that is packed and ready in our carry on. I had to go get a new pair of black pants - don't ask I am still reelling mad about this - for court. So, today was eventful.
One really great thing that has been happening this week is that the we have been in contact with the couple that is staying in the same apartment that we will stay in. They leave Saturday morning and we arrive Saturday afternoon. This wonderful family has given us great tips and ideas that have helped in the "should I take this or should I not take this" moments. So HUGE thanks to this wonderful CSS family!!!
My sweet aunt came by the house tonight. She dropped off a Toddler Survival Handbook. She said for us to read it on the plane. Maybe, I will give Dave a pop quiz when we arrive.
We keep looking at each other saying - we are really leaving!! It has been almost 2 months since we have seen Zach and each day has been like a little piece of our heart has broken off. We are looking forward to holding Zach and our hearts being whole again. Gottcha day - May 5th - cannot come soon enough!
