No Fooln' – Today Was A Good Day

Today started out a little rough. I got an hour of sleep last night. I was up and down, watching TV, on the Internet, and trying not to wake the dogs! I was thinking too much last night. I know - shocking!
But the day turned around when C from our agency gave us the news that we would be able to do one last trip as we had originally planned! That was great. The best part followed. We found out that we will be able to take "physical custody," or what many adoptive families call "gotcha day," on May 5th! Not on the 12th! This means we will have extra days with Zach in our apartment as we wait for all the government offices to reopen after the holiday.
Here are our dates:
- Fly out April 18th
- Arrive in Moscow April 19th
- See Zach April 19th or 20th
- Court on April 21st
- "Gotcha Day" May 5th
- Fly home May 16th
Its so nice to have concrete dates! We are very happy to have extra time with Zach before we fly home. We really hope this time will be good for bonding and time for adjustment! We are just excited to know when we will have him!!

Thank you to all who have been thinking of us and praying. I know I felt a wave of peace come to me when we got the confirmed dates and our "gotcha day". Soon Zach will be home!!
