It is amazing that we have had Zach with us for 4 months now! I cannot believe it. The amount of change all three of us have been though, yet we feel like we have always been together. Everyday we spend with little man we feel more and more blessed.
We made it through Tropical Storm Hanna. We lost power for a little while last night, but it came back on relatively quickly. We did not see too much - just a lot of wind (of course), rain, and the surf was almost up to the parking lot. Zach slept through the whole thing, bless his heart. The beach was great this morning. Zach was all over the place playing and trying to get away from the surf coming in.
We did the normal nap time - then pool time - then nap time again - and then out for dinner. We went down to Murrells Inlet and found a restaurant called "Drunken Jack's". Our table sat at the window looking over the inlet onto "goat island". Yes, there were goats on the island and Zach would "moo" when we asked him what a goat says. We need to practice our animal sounds. After dinner, we walked around Murrells Inlet's walk way and looked at the boats coming and going.
We drove back to the hotel and we were greeted with tons of fire trucks. Great - just what we needed. We have a cranky little crab, who is sneezing and needs to be changed. Finally, we got the all clear to "safely" enter the building. (We heard someone say that that it was an electrical issue.) At least Zach was entertained by the fire trucks and cool fire fighters. Bless Dave he climbed the 7 flights of stairs with Zach and a smelly surprise!
We are now back in our room and Zach is asleep. I am praying his little sneezes will pass soon and not turn into a full blown cold.
We head for home tomorrow!
