Beach Trip Day 4, 5 and 6

We have had typical days at the beach - so nothing really to report. Beach time is a lot of fun with Zach. He particularly liked it one morning because there were big tractor things on the beach. He waved and "fussed" at them. We think he thought his Grandpa was driving them and not picking him up. He seems to like the sand more and more each day. Often if the surf comes up he will turning into us to pick him up, then laugh when it hits our feet. There have also been a lot of puppies on the beach. Zach would say "uoff," translation "woof," and wave to all the puppies.
Pool time continues to be great. Zach was happy walking around and playing on the steps into the pools. There are two large slides in the indoor water park that Dave takes him down. He loves those! He sucks his thumb at the top of the slide then as they start he pulls it out and smiles so big with a little hand clap for good measure.
Dave loves seafood and he LOVES the all you can eat sea food bars. We went one night to his favorite. Why is it his favorite? Because there are mermaids swimming in there little indoor pool. Anyway.... So Zach was loving his pasta and broccoli, when Dave came back to the table. Dave said, "I have a new friend for Zach." Then he pulled up a crawfish. I said, "Ewww." Dave then said, "I wonder what he would do if I offer it to him?" I said, "Most likely point at it or grab it." So Dave holds it up to him.... He opens his mouth like a little bird. I thought to my self.... Seriously? So we laughed. I grabbed my camera thinking - oh the moment passed he will not do that again. So, Dave held it up again and AGAIN Zach opened his mouth and tried to eat it. I guess I have two boys who love sea food!
Nothing really big to report over the last few days. Just playing in the pools and watching the weather channel to see what "Hanna" is doing. Right now Zach is asleep and we are sitting on the balcony with winds coming off the ocean at a decent clip. This tropical storm is supposed to come to hit around here so everyone is under a tropical storm warning and tornado watch. FUN FUN FUN!
