Beach Trip Day 2

Today was Zach's first day on the beach. Last evening we went out on to the
beach, but he could not really see what was going on around him. Our little man loves water and he has only a little hesitation. You would think that when the surf knocks you down that a little one would be afraid to go back toward the surf - well not our little guy. He was apprehensive, but he loved the water. SOOO different than the little man who could not stand water when we first took custody. This morning we started out on the beach early after watching the sun rise on our balcony. We took a few pictures of Zach walking around on the beach, then we hit the surf. Or should I say then the surf hit us? The water is very "rough" and we did not go in to the surf but up to our ankles, but there was one particular wave that came in that was a little stronger than Dave and I expected. Needless to say it was not pretty and well... my camera doesn’t work anymore.
After spending some time on the beach playing in the surf and digging in the sand with our shovels we headed back to the pool areas. We love this hotel. I am so glad that Dave's sister recommended this place. Zach loves the lazy river and loves the kid areas. This little water bug likes to be in the water and points to where he wants to go. He is starting to kick more in the water and putting his face in to the water. Just precious!
Zach (along with Daddy and Mommy) took a morning nap. At this point our camera is still not working! My fear is realized - my camera is dead! I cannot be with out a camera! I mean Zach needs to have his picture taken every 5 minutes. So we looked at camera reviews and decided what we wanted and headed out after lunch in to look for my new camera!
We found a great camera and then headed over to Broadway On the Beach for dinner and a walk. Zach devoured Mac and Cheese and loved watching the "quacks" on the water. He did a lot of two finger pointing at the fish and ducks.
We decided to go back to the pool area for an evening swim. As we went back up to our room little man yawed and was snuggling in to Daddy's arms. He was wiped out!
So Zach is asleep in his pack and play, Dave is watching TV and I'm trying to figure out my new camera! (Thanks Dave!)
